Story of Din Muhammad Thari
My name is Din Muhammad. I am 22 Years Old from Tharparkar.
I got my primary & secondary education from my rural area village of Tharparkar which is near indian border.
I got my education by sitting under the trees without any facility like board, chalk, building, classroom etc
When I entered in Class 05 in December 2009,Suddenly my father died & He was Primary school teacher,he was suffering from epilepsy disease.
When my father died my uncle supported whole family morally as well as financially but my uncle also has big family 13 Family members & he is Junior Elementary School Teacher so he was not much financial stable that I can get my education after passing matriculation from village,
My dream was to become a Doctor but there was no way that I can get higher education in city after matriculation.
*Reason*
Why I want to become a Doctor?
From our village *Indian boarder* is 4 km away,
in emergency case if we rescue patient for hospital it takes at least more than 1.5 hour & there MBBS doctors are not willing to serve due to lackness of facilitates like there is no *electricity, road, laboratories & well developed hospitals etc*
But
*I was willing to serve there in my village but unfortunately couldn't become doctor*
Luckily in 2015 a Delegation visit by Aware Thar to our primary school & one team along with them from IDSP (Institute Of Development Studies & Practices) & Dr Ehsun came to my village for visit & they met me & they sponsored my educational expenses for 02 Years of Higher Secondary College (Intermediate) Education
after completion of intermediate I gave test for admission in Medical University but I couldn't select in Government Medical University & I failed due to less marks & I was not stable that I can apply on self finance or in private university then I applied for applied in University of Sindh I got selected but I didn't went & I choose B. Ed(Hons) Bachelor Of Education Department because I want to become a Teacher because *Teacher can produce all the professions as well as good doctors* If I couldn't become a Doctor so what I will become a Teacher & *I can produce more doctors*
& after becoming a Teacher want to teach in rural areas not only this but I want to become or want to produce Education Minister/Seceretary for developing education sector that from villages students like me *poor & orphan students* who can not afford expenses to go city for higher education they can get education easily.
So many students who belong from rural area & who can not continue their education due to financial issues *I want to make quality education for all & everywhere*
That we can progress & our area become developed area & *we can enter in G10 countries list (10 Greatest Countries) countries as Sir Rehan Allahwala said.*
After it I got selected for scholarship from Lot Foundation 10k Per Month & also I started working on education, youth empowerment & awareness in youth including this I started teaching tuitions & continued B. Ed(Hons) from Teachers Training Institute.
In the year 2020 during Lockdown period I got an opportunity from Sir Rehan Allahwala to join Rehan Foundation as a first fellow of Rehan Allahwala & I joined Rehan Foundation & started learning from Sir Rehan Allahwala after 15 days Training & time spending with Sir Rehan Allahwala, he sent me to a remote area Jungshahi Thatta to start a Digital Literacy School
I started working on Digital Literacy School project & trained people & 2 of my cousins to run school that I can continue my studies after Lockdown & after Lockdown period I went back to Mithi & also started Digital Literacy School there.
Alhamdulillah I got opportunity to become CEO Of Digital Literacy School & now a days I am managing all operations of Digital Literacy School & working as a Digital Literacy Trainer at Rehan School.
Moral Lesson of this story
*If you couldn't become something which was your dream*
*You can support, produce & create others who can complete your dream. Only don't think for yourself, think & live for others too. If you want to solve any problem you have to start from root cause*
